Knoops Hot Chocolate Shop, Bath England 🇬🇧

In Bath England I found a concept shop I haven’t seen before.  Knoops is a chocolate beverage cafe set up to serve custom chocolate beverages. 

Choose hot or cold, chocolate percentage, preferred milk, and extras. I saw at least six different origins on the menu, including Peru, Ecuador, Philippines, Solomon Islands, Colombia, and Venezuela.  

There was also a menu of spices or roots and herbs that could be added as extras as well as some staff favorite recipes.

I found the idea an interesting modern take on 17th and 18th century British chocolate houses.  The cafe was busy with most tables full and a constant stream of customers, maybe chocolate houses will become popular again!
