Decadence! Spokane Chocolate Festival

Last Friday I had great fun at Decadence! Spokane's new and only chocolate festival.

I put together a short video of clips of the event using You Tube's new app "Capture" (thanks to Paul John Kearins of Chocolatasm for letting me know about that app).  This is my first "Capture" and I can't wait to play with the app more.

Decadence was a fun event with chocolate vendors touting everything chocolate from truffles to chocolate lamb chili (wow!).

Celebrity chefs performed, wine and chocolate parings and classes about chocolate history entertained.

Bands played, and the Chocolate Martini contest was filled with fun and laughter as well as some liquid nitrogen.

This event was more of a chocolate party atmosphere than a trade show or exhibit.  Small enough to take in everything and talk direct with the chocolate makers.  It seemed to be a great venue for groups on girls night out as well as couples out for date night.

I had a great time seeing old friends in the chocolate business and meeting a few more new friends.

Here are some photos from the event...

The Spokane Melting Pot had a delicious fountain!

Looking forward to next year!
