Steve DeVries: Carmalized Nibs on Costa Rican Chocolate

Looks similar to a mendiant with caramelized nibs crowding the top so you can barely even see the chocolate below.

I'm told the both the chocolate and the nibs are from Costa Rica.

Taste:

Earthy, such that it reminds me of the scents I might find when walking through a dry forest.

A slight bit  bit of spice, cinnamon like.  I suspect it is coming from the nibs.

Brittle crunch on the nibs.  Nibs always tempt me to chomp.

Lingering chocolate earthy flavors.

Yes, I want more.  I'll make my way to Chocolopolis again today to find a few more of these.
