Sweet Mickey's in Ballard with a NW Chocolate Festival Poster

Last night I had a chance to stop by Sweet Mickey's, a new candy shoppe in the Ballard area of Seattle.

Such a sweet little shop with old fashioned penny candy, locally made ice cream, and chocolates by Trevani Truffles and Forte Chocolates.

Laura scoops ice cream and serves truffles from behind the counter with a sweet smile.  It was late, and almost closing time so Garrett was bringing in the A boards from the sidewalk outside.
