Who?  Chocolate Necessities owner and artisan chocolatier Kevin Buck.  Kevin has been using Callebaut chocolate to make gourmet truffles and solid chocolates since 1987. 

Ooh’s and Aah’s…  Kevin is an incredible host who took the time to give us a tour of the “kitchen” where they make all of their own chocolate wonders as well as custom truffles and chocolates on one of his busiest days of the year.  The retail side of the shop is filled to the brim with fresh truffles and bars, high quality cocoa, chocolate chips of many different varieties, and even really big slabs of Callebaut chocolate.  They also serve sipping chocolate!




Must try list: 
þ     The custom wine truffles are decadent, rich, and excellent.  
þ     The chocolate dipped orange peel is worth driving two hours in the rain just to taste again.  The texture is so tender and bursting with deep sweet orange flavor that if blindfolded you would never guess that you were eating the citrus peel.  Not even a hint of bitter flavor.  Kevin has perfectly paired the chocolate and orange.
