What Are Nibs? Cocoa Nibs? Cacao Nibs? Chocolate Nibs?
What are nibs?
Are they called cacao nibs or cocoa nibs or chocolate nibs? Any of those names will work.
Where do they come from? They are cacao beans that are roasted and slightly crushed.
What do they taste like? Like the chocolate from the same origin but without sugar, and they should be crunchy like a roasted nut, but not so hard that they break your teeth nor should they be soft. My favorites are from Amano chocolate.
