Alter Eco Dark Chocolate Cacao 73% with Crunch Roasted Nibs

Fruity, dark, and crunchy nibs. I'd buy it again (I've already bought three more).

It appears that the nibs are sourced in Bolivia however the rest of the cacao content is a blend from several different countries. The short and pure ingredient list keeps it in the "fine chocolate" category in my opinion.
After the video we munched the entire bar in one day. That pretty aggressive even for my house!

My husband declared it his favorite bar of all time so I went back to the store to buy three more bars.

The Alter Eco web site shows the bars in slightly different packaging so If you go searching for this bar make sure to keep your eyes open for the Alter Eco logo and new packaging. Check out the new look and find the other bars in their chocolate line here. (yes, a couple more reviews on this line are coming soon)

Alter Eco works with small scale farmers who grow not only cacao but also quinoa, rice, and sugar.  They are help the farmers institute Fair Trade and organic practices and are a GHG Protocol 3 Carbon Zero business.

Read their storyMeet their team, they look like they are having fun which makes me hope that someday I will meet them in person!
